Privacy Policy
Amem is operated by Virex Tech LLC ("we"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are, in line with the LGPD (Brazil) and the GDPR. Last updated: July 27, 2026.
1. Data we collect
We collect: account data (name, email and the sign-in identifier from Apple, Google or email/password); content you create in the app (prayer requests, comments, selected mood and prayer history); subscription status and purchase history (processed by the app stores — we never see card details); device identifiers and push tokens; and usage and diagnostics data (navigation events and crash reports).
2. App blocking and screen time
The list of apps you choose to block is processed exclusively on your device, using the system's screen-time APIs (Family Controls on iOS). We never collect, transmit or store which apps you block or how long you use them.
3. How we use data and legal basis
We use your data to provide the service (performance of contract): keeping your account, syncing progress, generating prayers from the mood you share and running the community. We use usage and diagnostics data to improve and secure the app (legitimate interest), and marketing communications only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Sharing
We share data only with processors that make the service work: Google Firebase (analytics, notifications and sign-in), Sentry (crash reports), Superwall (paywall and subscription management), Apple and Google (payment processing) and OpenAI (generating the prayer text from your selected mood, without data that identifies you). With your tracking consent (ATT on iOS), attribution data may be shared with marketing platforms such as Meta and TikTok. We never sell your personal data.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, portability or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent, at any time — in the app (Settings) or by emailing contato@virextech.com.br. Account deletion is detailed on the Account Deletion page.
6. Retention and security
We keep your data while your account exists and delete or anonymize it after deletion, except records required by legal or tax obligations. Data travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and internal access is restricted.
7. Children
Amem is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes and contact
